What we carry

Medically Modern is an authorized dealer for the brands we carry, and we sell new equipment only. We carry all major CPAP brands, including ResMed, Löwenstein, and Fisher & Paykel.

Tell us the prescription your doctor wrote and we will match the machine to it. If you are not sure which model your prescription allows, ask us before you order.

How coverage works

Ask us about your benefits first - we are the insurance experts. We're in-network with Anthem, Fidelis, Humana, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare and Medicaid. We accept Medicare. Paperwork varies by plan; we check it with you.

For initial Original Medicare coverage, you need a clinical evaluation before a qualifying sleep test. Under Original Medicare, Part B may cover a 12-week trial of CPAP therapy for diagnosed obstructive sleep apnea. Coverage continues past the trial when you use the machine at least 4 hours a night on 70% of nights over a consecutive 30 days during the first 3 months, and your doctor re-evaluates you in person between days 31 and 91 and documents that the therapy is helping. Original Medicare pays for the machine as a 13-month rental, and you own it after 13 continuous months. You pay 20% of the Medicare-approved amount after the Part B deductible when the supplier accepts assignment. Medicare Advantage plans may differ.
