Mobility Scooters, Delivered Anywhere in New York

Medically Modern is an authorized dealer for the brands we carry, and we sell new equipment only. We carry three- and four-wheel mobility scooters from Drive Medical, Pride Mobility, and Golden Technologies, with baskets, chargers, and replacement batteries.

A scooter may help with longer distances. Original Medicare coverage requires a mobility limitation inside your home that a cane, walker, or manual wheelchair can't address. You must be able to transfer, sit upright, and steer safely, and your home must fit the scooter. Original Medicare requires a face-to-face evaluation, a written order before delivery, and prior authorization for scooters. Tell us the prescription your doctor wrote and we will match the scooter to it.

Ask us about your benefits first - we are the insurance experts. We're in-network with Anthem, Fidelis, Humana, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare and Medicaid. We accept Medicare. Coverage depends on your plan, and every plan has its own paperwork; we check it with you. Original Medicare and most plans treat manual wheelchairs, power-operated vehicles (scooters), and power wheelchairs as different coverage paths with different documentation, and eligibility depends on the payer's documented criteria. Medicare Advantage plans may differ.

We follow the same four steps on every order: get the order, verify benefits, complete documentation, and arrange delivery. Benefit information is an estimate, not a guarantee of payment.
